Sant Pere del Bosc Chapel (1694)

This century-old chapel once was inhabited by Benedictines until 1694. The hermitage was then restored in 1789 in Baroque style, the previous style had been Gothic. The original hermitage was named Sant Pere Salou.

Sants Metges Chapel

A chapel dedicated to Saint Cosme and Saint Damià, it is situated at the heart of the old village, and was recently reconstructed.

Nostra Senyora de Les Alegries Hermitage (1079)

This Hermitage was formerly known as Nostra Senyora de Palos or Palou. This was the first parish church of Lloret and is located 2.5 km from the town centre. The hermitage has Romanesque features; the exquisite bell tower is well worth a visit.

Sant Quirze Hermitage (before XI century)

This is the oldest hermitage in Lloret. It was first referred to on January 1079, on the occasion of the consecration of Sant Romà. It is said to date back to the victory of a Roman and Christian general named Quirze while others believe that it was built in Charlemagne's time.

Sant Quirze hermitage is 200 metres from the cemetery and 1 kilometer from the town centre. The original hermitage is about 4.5 metres wide by 10 long. Through the years, the eighteenth century extension converted the sanctuary floor with an extension of 10.5 metres along the side.

Santa Cristina Hermitage (1376)

The most distinguishing aspect of this hermitage is its high altar constructed with collared marble and a large painting depicting the death of Saint Christine. It is located 3.5 km from the centre of Lloret and has the earliest reference dating back to 1376.

The current temple is built at the end of the XVIII century with an interesting collection of votive offerings and miniature ships offered up to the Saint by mariners.

Parish Church (1509-1522)

With an original gothic style, this church was built between 1509 and 1522. It contains altarpieces with Catalan paintings from the XVI century by Pere Seraf and Jaume Fontanet, as commissioned by the council of the University of Lloret. The builders were Bartolom Ruffi and Pere Capvern and the work cost around 3,000 Catalan pounds. Inside its baptistery are seven large paintings which were discovered in a loft of the bell tower.

Cabanyes Font House (1877)

This was built in 1877 and purchased by the town hall in 1982. It was once a typical stately home which belonged to the Cabanyes Font family. The same family is the owner of St Pere del Bosc. Nowadays, it houses the Municipal Museum.

Town Hall (1868-1872)

In Neo-classical style, this was constructed between 1868 and 1872. The budget for this work totalled in Euros an amount four times the total ordinary budget for that year.

Sant Joan's castle (X c.)

This castle was constructed during the 11th century, under a feudal system of the village. After a Genoese attack and the war against Napoleon's Grand Armee, it suffered severe damages.

En Plaja's Castle (1935)

Located on the northern side of the Lloret's main beach, built at the end of the Spanish Civil War. It is one of the symbols of Lloret.

Santa Clotilde Gardens (1919)

These spectacular gardens have a surface area of 26.830 square metres, with an upper esplanade that stands 50 metres above sea level, the Santa Clotilde gardens are simply breathtaking. They are set in a natural amphitheatre overlooking the sea and they are currently the property of Lloret de Mar town Council.

Roman Sepulchral (II c. AD)

This Romanic burial monument dates back to the second century AD and was discovered in 1891. The body of the tower is 4 meters high. It has a roof with railing on three of its four sides.

Montbarbat Fortified Enclosure (IV-III c. BC)

This is probably the most important Iberian enclosure of the area. The discovery of some Atic ceramic fragments was an important find for archaeology as it proved Greek influence in Spain.

Puig de Castellet Fortified Enclosure (III c. BC)

Located on the northwest face of the hill dominating a vast area of the coastline, this is an archeological site that has been opened to the public. It has a pentagonal shape that is 30 meters wide and with two gateways that lead into the interior.

Volcanic area of "La Garotxa"

This is the best example of volcanic landscape in the Iberian peninsula that contains thirty strombolian volcanoes, some craters and more than twenty of the most unusual basalt lava flows. Some of its most important volcanoes are: Montsacopa, Santa Margarida, Croscat, Martinya and Roca Negra.
