San Isidro Labrador Festivity in Castell d'Aro
The activities of artistic and cultural nature are more important than other ones during this festivity. Therefore, the audience can enjoy a series of works from the first level. Wine and Cava Festivity in Platja d'Aro
This celebration takes place both day and night and it is primarily aimed to show the best wines produced in the entire world, not only in Spain. It should be noted that this drink can be accompanied with different food. Some of these are the pâté, the smoked, cheeses, cold meats and Iberian hams.

In late May: Painting Contest Quick Castell d'Aro

23th of June: San Juan Night in Platja d'Aro
When night falls on that day, Platja d'Aro is illuminated thanks to the wide variety of fireworks that are on the sky. These are launched from the Cavall Bernat and they can be seen from Platja d'Aro. On the other hand, as an advance to the firework display, after entering the night of twenty-three, there is an activity known as the arrival of the Flame of Canigó. This event is very symbolic because the union of the graphic language and the culture of the area of Catalonia. Finally, it should be noted that the fireworks are responsible for providing launched by the summer season here.

Second Saturday in July: Song of Habaneras of Cavall Bernat

One day in July: Fair Drawing Platja d'Aro
When you reach the seventh month of the year, the streets of the town known as Platja d'Aro is plenty of painters for a day who want to offer the best of his art. It should be pointed out that among his works can be found various tables prepared on the basis of watercolors and oil paintings. On the other hand, the lithographs also occupy an important space in this Fair.

Friday July and August: Nights of Jazz in Platja d'Aro
As early as ten years ago, more precisely in 1998, takes place annually in Platja d'Aro festival known as the Night of Jazz. This activity consists of a series of eight free concerts, which scenario is the Great Square of Platja d'Aro. It should be noted that proceedings are started at eleven o'clock in the evening of Friday and extend until dawn the next day. In general, performances are first-rate, that is why these concerts are regarded as an excellent alternative for the summer season on the Costa Brava.

Rugby Playa 7x7
Each month of July is done in Platja d'Aro a 7x7 Rugby Championship. This activity is very appealing to tourists and residents because it is played in the sand and not in the classic lawn. The peculiarity of this tournament is to see how the players adapt to the new playing field. But without losing the characteristic touch of the rugby. July-August: International Music Festival of S'Agaró
This activity is carried out by the Association Pau Casals, taking the City Council as the principal sponsor. It is characterized by the offer during a summer season concert series (eight) for all the residents of this place. The artists who come to this festival are Spanish and also from abroad. That's why this musical feast is considered one of the most important in all of Catalonia.

16th of July: Marine Processions of the Virgin of Carmen in Palamos
This celebration is characterized by its great religious touch. That is why there is a Mass and a procession in honor to the Virgin protector and patron saint of fishermen. It should be noted that this festivity is very special as it is done by boat.

21th-27th of July: Santa Ana Festivity in Blanes
This holiday lasts eight days and it is famed for hosting the International Fireworks Competition. It should be noted that in 2008 held the thirty-eighth edition. 14th - 20th of August: Festival of Platja d'Aro
This holiday is characterized by a diversity of activities for the entire audience. Here, children, youth, adults and seniors spend it well and have fun without equal. For this reason, this celebration is one of the best ones in Catalonia. Some of the shows that are able to enjoy first-rate, standing out above the rest linked to the theater and music. Sports and children's games also are two interesting attractions at this festival. Finally, it should not be put aside to Havana and the classic folk dances.

In mid-August: Minour Festivity of the copatrons saints in Blanes
This holiday is characterized by the classical tradition of the Night of the People's walking. It should be noted that this celebration is already twenty-five years and it is very important for the popular character it has. All who walk in that night they do with their children and their pets. The total distance people walk is eight kilometers. On average, there are three thousand people who come to this activity every year.

This holiday is characterized by a tasting of various handicraft products and the best vintage wines. 26th - 27th of August: Medieval Market Castell d'Aro
When the summer season arrives, Castell d'Aro suffers an incredible transformation. It is as if time stopped and began to retreat, stopping just in the Middle Ages. In August and part of July: Outdoor Theater
From five years ago there is a wonderful summer theater. What's striking and interesting is that the actors are children and young people of the locality. In addition, another detail important to know is that everything is served outdoors. The works performed are carried out in the gardens of the Bas Masia in Platja d'Aro and they are free for anyone who wants to attend. Some of the companies that have been presented here are the Xirriquiteula Theater and the Theater Llauna.
